Brookfield Launches $10B Fund to Expand AI Infrastructure Investments
Brookfield Asset Management has initiated a $10 billion fund aimed at bolstering AI infrastructure, with half the target already secured from notable investors including Nvidia and the Kuwait Investment Authority. The Canadian firm, which manages over $1 trillion in assets, plans to deploy this capital across data centers, power providers, and semiconductor factories, leveraging additional partnerships and debt to scale investments up to $100 billion.
Early moves include a $5 billion pact with Bloom Energy for data center power systems and government-focused AI infrastructure deals in France and Sweden. Brookfield estimates $7 trillion will be required globally for AI infrastructure over the next decade—a market it intends to dominate through its existing leadership in digital asset investments.
